This evening the Village of Liverpool Police Department came to station one to present to us "The Civilian Response to Active Shooter." The class was put on by experienced officers talking about how to act as civilians in this scenario to our members and families. It was an eye opening experience and a very informative presentation. Training and safety are always a big concern with us here in Liverpool, even know this was not a fire type training, it was one that was well worth it. A big thank you to the officers for coming out and making us better!

Anyone interested in attending one of these classes, please keep an eye out on the Liverpool Library's calendar or contact the Village of Liverpool Police Department.

Thank you for hosting this very informative event. The folks at Liverpool PD put on another excellent presentation that is not only timely, but important - for all of us. Officers did an excellent job with the material and conveyed a deep understanding of the subject matter. I'e attended many of these events, and there is always something that I miss or a new angle of understanding that is exposed, and tonight provided some excellent take-aways. Kudos!
