At 7:06 this morning, Liverpool was alerted mutual aid to Mattydale FD for a single vehicle roll over with heavy entrapment. C4(Laakso), E2(Ormsby) and R1(Payne) responded. MFD E2 and HFD R5 arrived and and started the extrication. MFD C2(Fitch) realized the need for additional tools and equipment. Liverpool arrived shortly after, putting our tools to work to get the patient out. The total extrication took 25 minutes, and lasted just 7 minutes after Liverpool arrived. The patient was transferred to NAVAC ambulance and transported to the trauma center with serious injuries. Units were back in service around 745.
