Early morning on October 7th, Liverpool Engine 2 was dispatched to a reported basement fire on Holiday Dr in Hinsdale. Car 2 (D/C Ormsby) and Engine 2 (D/C Payne) responded. Car 2 arrived and assisted with the initial attack in the basement. Engine 2 was third arriving and took the responsibility of the first due truck. Engine 2 quickly completed searches of the residence and started ventilation. The fire was quickly knocked down by the first arriving companies and units were back in service with in an hour.
