Early this morning, Liverpool Fire Department was dispatched mutual aid to the Belgium Cold Springs Fire District for a fire in a large barn type building. Car 2(Ormsby), Car 4(Laakso), and Engine 3(Albanese) were quickly out, arriving first due bringing in their own water supply. The building was located a few hundred feet off of the road, causing the crew to stretch an extended hose lay, a total of 450 feet. The crew was able to make a quick knockdown. Due to a frozen hydrant, Belgium Ladder 1 used its tank water to give to Engine 3 to supplement the extinguishment. Crews were back in service within 90 minutes.
