Early Monday afternoon, North Syracuse Fire Department was dispatched to a possible house fire on Watson Road. Crews arrived to find a 2 story split level with heavy fire showing from the second floor. A Signal 99 (working fire) was transmitted bringing Truck 2 to the scene. Car 3(D/C Laakso) arrived and was tasked as the interior operations chief. Truck 2 (D/C Manley) arrived and went to work as the second arriving truck company. The crew was tasked with opening up for the hand line and checking for fire extension. The crew was back in service in less then 2 hours.
