WHAT IS LIVERPOOL FIRE DEPARTMENT?

Liverpool Fire Department Inc. is a 100% volunteer organization. Liverpool Fire Dept answers calls for fire suppression, general rescue, automobile accidents, Emergency Medical Services, and water rescue. Liverpool FD responds to over 1800 calls for service annually. Our fire district includes a group of 100+ active, dedicated, and well trained volunteer professionals operating 3 fire stations covering 15 Square Miles.

Our volunteers provide EMS, Fire suppression and prevention and Life safety services with:

1 Crimson Engine

1 100’ Aerial Sutphen Platform

1 Salsbury Heavy Rescue

4 Light Rescues

4 Chief’s SUV’s

1 Utility SUV, Utility pick up truck and Fire prevention trailer

2 10’ Avon boat’s with a 25 hp Mercury outboard

 

We protect the Town of Salina Fire Protection District #4. This territory, including the Village of Liverpool, is comprised of:

Mostly singled family residential dwellings

Apartments, townhouses and condos

Several hotels and motels

Commercial businesses

Light industrial businesses

Rail line with 3 gated crossings

Interstate 90 toll road (East-West)

Interstate 81 freeway (North-South)

Flight pattern for Hancock International
Airport
